FundConnectHK Platform Terms of Service

The FundConnectHK platform is operated by Fund Connect HK Limited (Company No. 3066551), Units B, C&D, 19/F, Neich Tower, 128 Gloucester Road, Wanchai, Hong Kong. The Platform may be contacted at cs@fundconnecthk.com.

By registering, signing in, submitting information, ticking acceptance or continuing to use the relevant functions, you confirm that you have read and agreed to these Terms. Hong Kong’s Electronic Transactions Ordinance recognises contracts formed by electronic records, and the Platform may retain the acceptance time, account, document version and necessary technical records as electronic records.

Platform functions may include website information, team onboarding, strategy-information management, quantitative trading competitions, IBKR report connections, rankings and reports, customer support and other functions expressly shown on the site. Availability depends on location, account permissions and what is shown at the time of use.

Unless separately and expressly provided in writing by an appropriately qualified entity, the website, competition rankings, strategy summaries, historical data and general information do not constitute securities dealing, asset management, investment advice, solicitation, guaranteed returns or order execution on a user’s behalf.

You must have the relevant legal capacity and provide true, accurate, complete and lawful information. A person under 18 must first obtain valid consent from a parent or legal guardian and contact the Platform before registration to confirm the arrangement. If acting for a team, company, fund or institution, you confirm that you are authorised. The Platform may verify identity, contact details, authority or information sources for security, compliance or service purposes.

You must protect passwords, verification codes, devices, IBKR Flex Tokens, Query IDs and other credentials and must not share them with unauthorised persons. If abnormal use is detected, promptly change or revoke the relevant credentials and notify the Platform.

You must not use the Platform for fraud, money laundering, market manipulation, impersonation, infringement, abusive scraping, reverse engineering, access-control circumvention, malicious code, service interference or false or misleading submissions. The Platform may restrict relevant functions, preserve evidence and report or address the conduct as permitted by law.

The Platform and its licensors retain rights in the website, software, trade marks, interfaces and original content. You retain rights in your own strategies, information and content, while granting the Platform a non-exclusive licence limited to the scope and period necessary to provide the services you request.

IBKR, cloud, communications, file-storage and other third-party services are independently provided and subject to their own terms, availability and technical limitations. The Platform will use reasonable care in selecting and managing providers but does not control third-party markets, networks, report refresh timing or account decisions.

Investment and live trading may result in loss of all capital. Historical performance, paper trading, backtests, rankings and AUM displays do not predict future results or promise capital protection, minimum returns or a business relationship.

The Platform uses reasonable measures to maintain service and data security, but internet, market-data and third-party systems may be delayed, interrupted or erroneous. Planned maintenance and material changes will be notified where reasonably practicable; urgent security or legal measures may be implemented immediately.

You may stop using the services or request account closure through an available process. The Platform may suspend or terminate services for illegality, material breach, security risk or regulatory requirements. Termination does not affect accrued payment, confidentiality, data-retention, intellectual-property, liability or dispute provisions.

Each party is responsible under applicable Hong Kong law for its own breach, tort, fraud and unlawful conduct. To the extent permitted by law, the Platform is not liable beyond what the law requires for loss caused directly by market movements, user trading decisions, a user’s failure to protect credentials, third-party service failures or events outside reasonable control.

Nothing excludes or limits liability for fraud, wilful misconduct or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under Hong Kong law. Any disclaimer is to be construed fairly and reasonably under applicable law.

The Platform may send service-related notices through account messages, website notices, email, SMS or your selected contact channel. Marketing communications require any consent separately required by applicable law; accepting these Terms does not by itself amount to consent to direct marketing.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. Disputes should first be addressed in good faith through cs@fundconnecthk.com and, if unresolved, submitted to the courts of competent jurisdiction in Hong Kong.
